PERACID

PERACID is a broad-spectrum disinfectant based on peracetic acid that kills spores, fungi, bacteria and algae in seconds. It is acidic and oxidizing, produces no foam and is effective at low temperatures.

It is an ideal disinfectant for the food industry and water purification plants, especially for sanitizing the inside of pipes by recirculation.

• Dilution: 500 ml per 100 L of water.

Precautions and safe handling

• Wear rubber gloves and eye protection while handling. When handling it, use personal protective equipment: mask, resistant gloves, goggles, coveralls and waterproof boots.
• Do not mix with chlorinated products.
• Do not inhale the vapors.
• In case of a spill, dilute with plenty of water; if the spill is large, contain it with sand or soil (not sawdust). Do not add other chemicals or return recovered product to the original container.
• Inhalation: move the person to a cool, well-ventilated place.
• Eyes: rinse as soon as possible with running water for at least 15 minutes, keeping the eyelids open.
• Skin: remove contaminated clothing and footwear and wash the affected skin with plenty of water.
• Ingestion: rinse the mouth and give fresh water; do not induce vomiting and give nothing by mouth to an unconscious person. In all cases, consult a doctor immediately.
• Regulated material for transport: hazard class 5.1 (8), UN 3149, packing group II.
